Longineu Parsons III (LP)

Longineu Parsons III (LP) has been playing drums since the age of 2. He's probably best known as the energetic drummer from Yellowcard, where he was the lead drummer from their formation in 1997 and played for nearly 17 years. During Yellowcard's hiatus in 2009 - 2010, LP also played drums for Adam Lambert and founded the group LPMD with Miles M. Davis, where they released one album, Off The Record. After departing Yellowcard in 2013, LP and Ben Harper (former Yellowcard bandmates) helped to form the band This Legend and released the Punk Rock debut album It's In The Streets  in 2014. Since the release of It's In The Streets, LP has been part of Stages & Stereos, Secret Social Club, Ten Foot Pole, and New Years Day. 

 

Currently, LP resides in Florida and is part of the St. Augustine, Florida based-bands Vilano and CoCana and the Jacksonville, Florida based-bands Evergreen Terrace and Krash Party.
